We are sure that some of you waited for this a long time! Our dear international audience - we did not forget about you and today you are finally able to enjoy the Naukowe Radio Białowieża podcast with us! For some introduction: in september 2024, a Białowieża Ecology Conference was organized jointly by Mammal Research Institute PAS and Białowieża Geobotanical Station (University of Warsaw). We set up our podcast booth and invited our dear conference guests for a quick chat, along with some coffee and cookies. We were interested in their research, how they perceive the importance of natural forest ecosystems, and their personal impressions of Białowieża Forest. We managed to interview 19 guests and we divided them into four episodes. The previous two featured the Polish-speaking guests, while today we proudly present to you the first group of international speakers. The speakers for today include: Prof. Bart Muys (KU Leuven, Belgium), Prof. Lena Gustafsson (Swedish Agricultural University), Dr. Jessie Foest (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland), Msc. Claudia Massó (University of Würzburg, Germany), and Msc. Laura Harms (Forest Research Institute Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany). Keep in touch with us for the last conference episode (also in English), that we will publish in the coming months!Zapraszamy do kontaktu:
