Biography:
It is in the small, tucked away corners of the lands where unique perspectives on art and music develop. One of those corners is the small town of Gardelegen, where Matt Schulz resides and weaves his unique blend of dub techno, deep techno, tech-house and hypnotic techno. A niche, which opens up into a great space, if one is patient enough to really listen. Quiet euphoria lingering in the mist, just visible enough to be noticed by the keen ear and heart.

His approach is that beauty can be found in rawness, in the hazy fields of stillness, intimacy, melancholy and contemplation. The world is a loud enough place as it is, and the quiet tones make melodies too. Serenity comes from noticing the little movements everywhere.

His craft is influenced by quietly observing nature, listening, noticing every little being there is, watching the wind play in the grass and in the trees. His place in the scene is of similar quality, quiet, unobtrusive, in the background though always there.

He has collected a number of releases on labels like Insectorama, Apnea, Melotonin, Velvet Dub Collective, Superordinate Dub Waves, Deeptakt, Carandy and more. He plays a podcast on the alternative producer platform WeTalkMusicOnline called Soul´n´Dub, a heart project, both the podcast and also the platform. WeTalkMusicOnline offers a purely community driven approach to things, with track feedback, merchandise and, of course, a record shop all under one roof.
